Enhanced Mainstream Provision

Enhanced Mainstream Provision (EMS) at Junction Farm Primary School.

Dear Parents

The curriculum for this term is dependent on the year group your child is in. A copy of the termly overview showing the areas of study we hope to cover is available in the relevant year group.

If you feel that you can contribute to any of these subject areas by lending us artefacts, your own expertise or first-hand experiences please do not hesitate in contacting me.

PE will take place twice a week. A PE kit consisting of white T-shirt, Navy blue/black shorts and trainers will be required. (Tracksuit bottoms for outdoor PE in winter) Due to Health and Safety regulations your child will not be allowed to wear any jewellery for these lessons. Please ensure that your child is able to remove their own earrings if they are worn.

PE kit should be brought to school on a Monday and taken home on a Friday for washing.

Homework will be given out on a Tuesday and must be handed in the following Monday for marking. If your child is still on the reading scheme, their books will be changed on a Monday and Friday if reading record is signed. Please ensure that your child brings their reading book and reading record to school every day.

Names on clothing helps to eliminate loss and confusion for both teachers and children.

Water bottles

Please can you ensure that your child has a labelled water bottle which can be used for drinks (water only) throughout the day. This should be a separate one to that stored in their packed lunch box.

Your co-operation is appreciated.
